At the age of 16 Maria had a car accident. Her right leg had to be amputated above the knee. Since then, Maria has learnt to live with her handicap. As the old knee joint of her prosthetic leg was no longer working properly, we bought her a new electronic knee joint that allows her to walk almost perfectly. Maria studied music and would like to be an actress. Her favourite colour is green and she loves pizza.
