Bianca's Story
Two years ago Bianca was involved as a passenger in a terrible car accident. She didn't realized that the driver had taken alcohol. The driver lost control of the car in a bend and hit a tree. She recovered conciousness in the hospital and was horrified to discover that her left leg had been amputated. She was given a very basic prosthetic leg and very little medical rehabilitation. When she came to us she had an untreated infection and was feeling very ill. She had to go to hospital immediately and made a good recovery. We arranged to for a new prosthetic knee joint to be made for her which helps her to walk more easily. Bianca is the only person we know who does not like McDonalds.
