Paula's Story
Paula is 19 years old and lives near Frankfurt. She doesn’t have a regular boyfriend. She works for a large company, which produces orthopaedic appliances. In her free time, she likes to go swimming and to the zoo, as she is very fond of animals. A year ago, Paula had a very bad road traffic accident, which turned her life upside down. As a result, her left leg had to be amputated below the knee. However, she does not have a properly functioning and optically attractive prosthesis. At our own expense, we have provided her with a new and better prosthetic foot and a new cosmetic skin cover.
