3 years ago Laura lost her right leg below the knee in a car accident. She has never overcome this trauma because it was always her ambition to be a model. She developed an infection and a further amputation had to be carried out. This has caused problems with her prosthetic leg which never fitting properly. One of the main reasons she took part in the shooting was to help her develop confidence to appear in public. Laura enjoyed the shooting immensely and said that it was one of the greatest experiences she had ever had.
